Alchemilla mollis is a much-loved perennial for its soft, scalloped leaves and frothy sprays of lime-green flowers that appear from late spring into summer. The fresh foliage catches droplets of water beautifully after rain, adding a natural sparkle to the garden.
It’s easy to grow and thrives in sun or partial shade, forming neat clumps that soften the edges of borders and paths. Pair it with Geranium ‘Rozanne’ for contrast, Salvia ‘Caradonna’ for vertical colour, and roses for a timeless, classic combination that looks beautiful all season.
